LiPo for 'Q' class

Hey all,

Looking at getting some LiPo for my Q tunnel to race in the states at the Tunnel champs...I am about to test a 10XL on 18 GP 300's and MAYBE a 9XL on 18...also have an Aveox 1412 1.5y to try on 16 (guess this is probably to power limit for this motor)

Anyhow, what do you suggest, I looked at Pauls site, but not sure where to get them from and what...

We will be running a nitro course for maybe 7 laps i guess

Hi Kris,

I don't have all the lipos I sell listed on the site yet, an email with what your looking for works best right now.

A 4 or 5S setup is what you'll need, just depends on your motor choice. As far as cell size goes I would pick 2 3700 packs, they are the most affordable and have plenty of capacity.

A 4S2P with the 9XL would give you about 25K at the prop under load. A X640 should put you in the 50s.

Paul, i was told you are the guy to get the lipo's from. When you get a chance please email me a price on two 5s 3700mah packs. I also hear that you are the only guy selling these packs with 10 gauge wire, is that true?

Just curious, what Kind of tunnels are you running? would you be running the same size as say a 45 tunnel or a 21 tunnel? This electric stuff is very interesting I have one mono I use to LOL retrieve my nitro boat. Ya Ya Ya Laugh all you want. I have what I think is a XL motor with 12 cells and a castlse creation controller. It is in a ******** mono. Runs good enough to give me a good taste of what could be. I love that sound they make awsome.

I am running a 21 sized tunnel and planning to put 18cells (or equivilent LiPo) in it to see what it can do...just finished wireing up some 18 cell gp 3700's that should give it more OOOMMMPPFF than the 12 i usually run ;-)
