Toss it its dead.. Having said this.. now that its fully discarged solk it in salt water over night and then toss it in the trash. DO NOT PLACE IT AS IS IN THE TRASH..

then.. switch to a LiFe.. It can die the same death but at least it will not be "iffy".. you can just toss a LiFe in the trash.

to properly dispose they need to be placed in the salt water solution of a cup of salt to a half gallon of water and they are to be submerged in this solution for over TWO WEEKS then wrapped in newspaper and thrown away. Funny thing is how is this green??????

It's all moot now. The battery has had extensive use since rejuvenating.

I would like to note, I have seen many more mishaps do to a switch corroding or just going bad than any power loss do to battery failure.

A racer just this last race was jiggling the switch to get his system to work. I suggested switching. He chose to launch and hit the rocks instead.
