Decent water in the morning but no one accomplished much. Everyone decided to call it a day by 1pm. Saturday is predicted to have winds over 20mph so Sunday will end up being the only possible good day left to set records.

Looked pretty foggy at the airport, was it at the pond too?

I was on my way over there when Jose Ortiz call and told me that they had quit for the day thirty minutes earlier. It was a great afternoon to try. Low wind and what wind was there would not have effected the lake. I had worked all morning to get two Sport 21 hydros ready with there setup, one for straightaway and the other for oval. I guess they wanted to be someplace else.

You know how it goes, Zuber got hungry and went out for another cheeseburger. But I agree with Mark, the weather held and actually got better PM than AM. So instead of the time trial I went and checked Mark's s shop. He has some nice 20 hydro kits under construction and a very nice WOF Sport 40 kit. A lot of trick stuff being made at Bullard's Shop. You need to post some prices.

It was pretty foggy at 7am but cleared out by 8am David got a couple of runs with his 12 OB tunnel but then had a problem with his engine. We only had David and Mike Stevens show Friday to run for records and they both decided to quit about 1pm since they realized their boats needed some additional work. So we shut it down. No sense to wait around when no one else had showed or called by 1pm and it gets dark by 4:45pm .

Thanks Bill, looks like today was a write-off with that big north wind (don't blame us, think it came from Ohio or sumpin' ).

Tomorrow looks better for ya... ;)

Well not too much to report Sunday was not too bad little cold but that was good slight wind just enough for a nice ripple Guys just could not get everything together to do much good Mark Bullard did finally get one of his Sport 20 hydros up to over 61 mph but not up to David Preusse's current record of over 66.5 mph.
