West Coast Boaters,

Wondering how the weather was today at Legg Lake?

Should be interesting if the weather is good. :D

Thanks For Reading,

Mark Sholund

Mark,

The weather was "wet" all morning. Rain cleared out about noon, but brought the wind so running the faster boats was not a good option. The morning weather was about trying to compress water(hard to do) but there were a couple of 107mph passes & one 120mph (G-1 rigger) & (X rigger). Tomorrow should be better.

Don :)

Don,

I hope to hear some good news from L.A. today.

Thanks Again For Posting,

Mark Sholund

not sure about any other records, but Chris & Mark Grimm took the CC Racing/Grim Team G1 Rigger to a new world record of 108mph, with a fast pass of 108.72mph...with a CC Racing ProMod Zenoah G260 B)

Chris said Mark bumped the f hydro to 129.6 with 2 hours of water left.

Mark,

There were a lot of records set in all divions, gas, electric & nitro! I will talk to Kim Grim and see if she can post tht results. Wow if you were not here you missed the 3 best lunchs ever served & prepared by Kim Grim. Thank you Kim.

Some of the highlights were Kim's thunderboat one way pass of 66mph, Mark,s X hydro 133.9mph. Ron Buck,s gas mono 75mph pass.

Don :)

Mark will not become king....he has been king for years!!!!

Allan sorry, don't have pictures. The boat is Chris & Mark's design, CMB-80, Scott Bouchie pipe and Chris's True spin prop. Ya Mark is pretty much "King" of nitro & gas 1 & 2 way passes!! ;)

Don :)

This past weekend was a great event as usual and we were blessed with good air most of the weekend although there was some rain and wind mixed in. I would have to agree that Marks 130 mph was pretty impressive and topped the weekends highlights, but Kim's BBQ and lunch extravagnaza was not too far behind. Between all the participants there must have been 40-50 passes over 100 almost like its easy now. There were the usual thrills and spills along with some nitro carnage and FE smoke. I've got lots of great pics, including one of Don and his C hydro before and after, but will only post the non-sensitive ones due to respecting those who want to keep thier secrets secret. B) Don you want me to show some pics?

Tyler

Tyler, thanks for posting the pictures. I was sorry to see the damage Dons C hydro sustained. Did you have any CMB .21 vacs running in riggers at your event? I still have not heard much about that motor? Richard D

Yes we did, Jim Wilson was running one in is Seaducer A mono. The Grims also have 21 VAC's but were not running them at this event. They do run very good though.

Tyler

Ask one thing Question : Illegal or legal use Tuned pipe for S.A.W because make too loud I dont understand about NAMBA rule book " sound 92DB" <_< "'CHEAT" without muffled pipe
