Our new gauges will be available this winter and will cover the range between 0.006" and 0.016".John Knight said:Terry,
In conversation with you a few months ago you were looking to put in a gauge less than .010 (possibly .008) into the set. Have you yet? Andy Brown recommends a clearance of .008 in the 21 MAC's.

Phil, this is a wire gauge set in different diameters used to check how close the piston gets to the head button. That way, you can adjust the compression ratio. To low, poor to mediem performance. To high, pull the pin on the grenade and throw!Pennywizz6 said:What are these gauges? What do they do?

Wow cool, how can you change the compression ratio on engines like these?tracerbob said:Phil, this is a wire gauge set in different diameters used to check how close the piston gets to the head button.
