So far, here's what's up. The date will be May 19th at Spring Valley Park site permitting (because of a possible weed problem).

This year we wil have a drawing for a prize to anyone who shows up with or without a boat. We will have the drawing about mid-day for an Aeromarine Mean Machine .18 RTR minus engine unless I can find someone to donate one to drop into it. Steve Vacarro of Offshore Electrics has donated this so I'm going to hit up the LHS's to see if I can get an engine for it to make it ready for the winner to drive that day.

So far I've got quite a few people wanting to show up with more gas boaters and possibly some airboaters wanting to hook up here.

Again, all boaters are welcome but sailboats might have a problem with the above mentioned weeds are they are usually just a few inches under the surface this time of the year but I try to set up the course around the weed bed.

There are modern restrooms at the park, pets are allowed if they're leashed and we have a couple of grills nearby if you want to cook up something. Other than that it's best to bring along your own tables and canopies if you need them as the picnic tables are heavy and hard to move.

Hey Ron,

As far as the RTR goes, If the LHS doesen't step up to the plate for the little .18 motor,I will.

I don't have one in stock, but we can pick a new one up.

So plan on a RTR for someone to win either way.

What about the RX and TX for it?

We might need that if someones to run it that same day.

I do have plenty of used ones.

Ron,

WOW, That is great!! a chance for a RTR boat prize just for showing up!! That is really cool!!

I have that date set. I'll see you there!

Walt, the boat will be here some time next week so I'll see what's included but I'm pretty sure that Steve is sending the radio system with it.

I did hit up one LHS today but the manager said that I'll have to hit up one of the owners. I still have one more in town to go to yet.

Thanks for you offer Walt, I might have to take you up on it if the others don't pan out.

Wade, bring the boys along and you can triple your chances at taking home the boat! Get Missy here as we might have at least 2 other ladies showing up with boats in tow.

I will be there for sure, I want to race against a .12 rigger so you and Don Templeton better be ready .....................lol oh yeah and any body else with a .12 rigger :)

Paul

I don't know what I'm bringing for sure but at least the .12 'rigger, one of the .12 monos and the .21 mono. I want to travel light this year so that when I have the time to run I'll have the least amount of boats to deal with. This way I'll have more time to talk with everyone.

I hope to have 2 .12 riggers one .15 mono that is a nitro vee conversion to a wildthing and my thundercat. :)

Paul

Ohhhh I got my money order for IMPBA today, it will be sent in today so I should be a member real soon :)

Don Templeton says that he's going to be here but is having computer problems at the moment.

Paul, he has a message for you:

If you will, please post this for Gooycheese. "THE COLTS ARE GOING TO RUN WILD OVER HIS BEARS

I will give Don a Call tomorrow and explain to him he may need to sit a little closer to the TV so he can actually watch his Colts Get Spanked !!!!

GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ron,
Why not talk to Kevin about putting the Kazoo race on the D-2 schedule.

Mark

Mark,

This is not a race. Just a Fun Run that any and all can come out and enjoy a day of running boats. This is the 5th year running, no need to change the format....

Ron,

I'll see what I can do about getting Missy down there. Right now, her boat is out of commission, I need to get new bearings for her engine. I know the boys will want to go. Did you get my email about the my Fuel cell for my HH12?

See you all there.

I have it on the calander, but I amy have a wedding to attend that day. Not sure yet though. I really want to make it down. May have my son with me as well.

No Wade, I didn't get any e-mail about the HH .12 fuel cell unless it's under my other screen name.

Let me know if you need to borrow one as I do have a spare but will have to rip it out of another hull (if I can get it out).

Yeah, I should really put new bearings in the Rossi too. I have the replacement front bearing but have to find the rear one. Getting new ones for your Nova Rossi won't be cheap either.

Steve, hopefully you can try to make it, even for a little while.

need to find someone to car pool with from the cincinnati area, but i'll plan on making it

That's a long drive from the Queen City! I used to go to King's Island and I think that is was about 350 miles away the route that I went. Somebody might know of a quicker way.

I use to love KI when i was a young boy...

I'm sure someone from the Cincinnati Model Boat Club will be going up as well and will car pool with me

Both Jul and I will be coming up from the Cincy area. I hope to have a trailer by then. Don't know if you'll want to pool up with me. I normally spend a few extra days up there to be with my kids and other family members. If Jul doesn't get a different vehicle, he won' t have much room for himself!!!!!
