Kalistratov K45 engine

I run the Frank Werner (D-7) K45 as a direct drive motor, I've made a few modifications to the engine and have made a smaller volume head button and the engine is an absolute screamer, she is as fast as any NOVA or MAC 45 i have in my monos and riggers I just wish i could spend more time at the lake with them........

There are two different Kalistratov K45 motors on Ebay, one is a direct drive and the other is for a gear box.

Just got 3 brand new Kalistrakov K45 motors. They are awfully good looking and feeling engines. Time to put in my 45 rigger. Any recommendations? Tom
