I'm not sure which series it was, but the newer 13 mm crankshaft engines have a different case ID than the older 12 mm engines.

Ok JD,

I am going to revise the measures of the engine of 13mm to see if are the same measures that bring the new repairs since I want to entrust an assembly of piston and cylinder to the K&B.

Hola Gatt

Most of the 12mm & 13mm bits are interchangeable. The p&l that have the wide flat flange (sort of crown style) have a smaller diameter. The front housings, complete with crank, are completely interchangeable on the main block. It really is only the very early 12mm motors that are different. There are considerable differences in the port cut-outs between versions but they fit the same cases. I can measure them up and let you know the difference when I get home if you want.

Hi GT,

I have two sleeves, one with 0.7650in out diameter and one with 0.7490in out diameter, then my doubt is in which measured out diameter come now the sleeves.

Hola Gatt,

The later (current) sleeves are bigger than the early ones - which from memory were 3/4" OD

Bigger = Newer

Hy Gt,

One of my last motors that buy in the year 94 brought crank shaft 13mm and already the measured one take it, the sleeves 49/64 = 0.7656in
