Just recieved an ops .21

i just received the ops .21 from tunneldave thanks. i have a question though. i put some after run oil in the carb, and spun the flywheel, after a couple of seconds, oil came out where the flywheel and the engine meet. is this normal?

It is normal oil run throghout the bearings .Is this motor new?

Some engines like my P45 Black head have front sealed bearings so no oil came out.

So check up the play end of them to avoid failures.

It's normal. The bearings don't require seals.

yes, but that is how the bearings get lubed

dont worry about it. look at what the pros do, if they dont do it then it shouldn't be done.

You can never reuse fuel.

Put a paper towel under the engine when it's on the shelf.

if i run the boat for more than a few hours, wouldnt the boat be flooded? :unsure:

No Chicken Butt, it doesn't leak that much. Most of it gets thrown around by the flywheel. Wipe up the rest.
