Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to show the scale guys a new product that Joe at JRS came up with. This is his new universal scale stand. I know most of the time when you think universal, you think yah it fits multiple hulls but none of them good. I can tell you that this is not the case with this stand. The way the front and back pieces slide, you can really fit it to your hull. Below are several pics of the stand with various hulls. If you're interested please don't PM me, get in touch with Joe at [email protected]. He also has a website jrsinnovations.com.

Really nice work. Really make an awesome work stand.

I might be wrong, but you might consider coming up with some sort of guard for the back of the boat to contain the prop as they may not be NAMBA legal. Might be worth your while to check with NAMBA.

Mike is correct, they are not NAMBA legal. Per the NAMBA rules, the prop must be enclosed so that there is no chance of contact while the motor is running. I like the design, nice and lite. It may not be high enough to clear my boat's turn fin, hard to tell while sitting in the grass

NAMBA does not have a boat stand rule anywhere in the rulebook!!!!!!!! You can read the Rule about accidental contact at Section 8.B.2 I've read the rule and it doesn't state anything about a stand at all. As a matter of fact you can start you boat on the ground without any protection.

This stand shrouds more of the prop then most. Looking at the stand someone would have to work to get their hand or fingers in there.

MOST prop guards are on the start tables. I wish more people put some sort of shroud/gaurd on their stand but they don't.

But back to the nice post about quality built stands. Great job Joe!!!!!!!

These folks are speaking specifically to RC Unlimiteds rule on prop guard. I have several of these stands and they are the best. Simple added mod to make it right for our rules.

Looks awesome. I may have to invest over the winter. Building stands is NOT my thing

Joe I'd like to get one of these scale stands but shipping to Canada is $100, you don't happen to know anyone heading to the Vegas Nats that could maybe bring it?

Hello Brian

I have about 6 friends going to the Nats....

I am pretty sure I can get one of them to take it there.

Let me know if you want one....
