Well after 3 hours with Bob running the .45 Jaguar III CMB VAC. This motor was still being broken in at Evansville, and when I got home I moved up to a 1657. Boat would pull it fine and I thought the boat ran great. Then Bob F. shows up today and what I thought was great was junk when we got finished. Bob put a tweak here and there and hello fast plain fast. If we had another 1657 to pitch up I am certain it would pull with out any issues. Time ran out and the boss was hungry(the war dept. that is). No radar and not going to say what I thought the speed was but to pull this prop with ease I'm pleased.

All guns will be blazing. .21 is running awsome, now the .45 is running awsome, and I just committed to a .90. After running Bobs .90 this summer at the nats and at Evansville. I just had to have it.

Hi Brad  Is better CMB.45 VAC (blue headed) powerful than CMB.45 HR ( red headed)?

I have a couple of free prop certificates. Just may have to try one.

Do you have any ready now?

Brad

Brad,

I do have them ready, we are out testing some today.

I think the propeller certificates are only good for

Octura Propellers, and they do not include my labor

to finish them.

Thanks,

what kind of mods and speeds are you getting from H22's

as i have found that there is not enough L.P to go fast.

regards Aaron

Brad,

You will have to order them from Jim they are his cards.

The H-22's ran very well in testing, how fast do you want

to go? How fast was your best 1657? How were the lap times?

Aaron,

We just add more pitch into the blades & Profile them for RPM

and speed.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Tweaked another 1657 got a radar and the best was 88 consistently 85, ran out of time next session will be by end of week. SPEED is addicting.

Brad

It has some back cut to it, and pitched. Don't know the exact numbers yet. Going out one more time for the end of the year, it's getting cold.

With the new VAC engines who would one send it to for improvements if any it's a machine as is. I have had great luck with Steve Wood and Rod G. I like the speed.

Brad

I agree just finding the right one to do it. With my Jag III setup and stock VAC not sure what more I need really.
