JAE Turn Fin

I just purchased a pre built JAE 45 single engine hull. The kit came with the ZippKits .45 Twin turn fin. This thing is huge. Sure does not seem right to me. Any thoughts?

Yes it is! It needs to be that size as the mounting method will keep 1/2 of it out of the water. They work, try it out as you can always cut some off but adding material on is a bit harder to do. Paul

Sure no worries. There are a few turn fins out there that work great, the "stock" one works well also.

We tested a 45 fin on a gas Whiplash, worked fine. The original fin I had on was not working out. I did get the right turn fin in the mail the next week.Just another day on the pond. Think that's big look at the 45 twin fin.

Chris, you should have gotten the 45 single fin. It has no holes.The 45 twin fin is huge and has holes...

I will box this up and get it on its way for an exchange. I was thinking this was way too big for the hull.
