I know the pool noodle in the radio box would work for a fact and if you use a shot of goop they are not going anywhere..been there done that I use one to house my rx in my 21 hawk and it has not budged after more than one cut off bouy but I am with Mr Knight on this one paint em bright so everyone can see em..

Just from my opinion Painting the boat a Bright color is a given. A High Vis color should make your boat visible to you and others running in a pack or dead in the water in the back straight . As for the foam I plan to use it.. there are a few small advantages by using it. A few benefits are less vibration in the radio box area...... aids in floating the hull not much I agree, will add structural strength to the ski and help support the stuffing box in the radio box area. I don't see it being a Huge factor in any one category but worth some thought. As I said I plan to use foam halfway down the ski to support the stuffing box and reduce vibration if any. let you know what my finding are in the summer. build strong and lite........
