My 3 servos are going to end up in the middle of the radio box. The easiest place to put the 6v reciever pack is in the rear. Any thoughts on whether I might end up with too much rear weight or is that not a concern for the JAE design? I have room in the front of the radio box, but I will need either a smaller battery pack or split the cells to both sides of the flex cable tube.

Thanks.

I ran 2 styles of batteries last summer; on was a 5 cell/6 volt "flat pack" that fit perfectly against the transom. I also tried a 5 cell/6 volt "stick pack" (3 cells alongside 2 cells) that fit between the tub wall and the stuffing tube - on the right side of the stuffing tube. I didnt notice any discernable differences. Got both packs from cheapbatterypacks.com (used the custom pack option).
