Hello guys,

I am doing some leg work on a new JAE twin and wanted to compare the numbers from the 21 to the new twin. I would really appreciate it if someone with a trimmed out JAE 21 could get me the following numbers.

!) Total weight of finished boat.

2) Weight on the front sponsons at the trailing edge of the ride pad

3) Weight at the trailing edge of the ski

4) MOST IMPORTANT, Get the center of gravity by rolling the center section over a tube or finding where it balances out. Measurement from transom forward.

5) Position of CG in reference to the trailing edge of the turn fin.

Thanking you in advance to whomever gets me this info.

Hi Albert,

My JAE.21 is probably not as quick as some of the top boats in the USA and Australia, but it runs very well here in our club. It was built to be durable rather than to be light as you will see from the weights I've endorsed in the body of your note below. It also carries a third servo for HS needle adjustment and also a transponder for lap scoring. Hope this info is of value to you.

Cheers,

Wennie.

60% of the "TOTAL" boats weight on the trailing edges of the sponsons...........40% of the boats weight on the rear of the skis............

As to a rolling CG  ....you figure it out using the weight distribution percentages shown above......... ;)

Thanks,

Albert
