I was wondering how much rudder is below the bottom of the tub . Reason i am asking i was planning on using the zippkits water 3" rudder but looking at it it looks a little short "not much in the water" i could be wrong ? .. I just would like to drill the mount one time and be done ..Don't want a bunch of holes trying different locations or rudders .Any help would be much appreciated !

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger as I felt that the Solinger is a little on the short side so on my latest I'm using a Speedmaster mini hydro rudder. Use the .21 rudder if you want more length.

I run the Zipp water cooled rudder and mine turns just fine at 50%

I mounted mine even in the middle with no issues.
