JAE 101 GT Set Up Questions

Hi All.

Just have some questions with setting up the 101 GT.

How far back from the transom do I place the engine or do I use the 1-1.5" from the radio box bulkhead rule I read about the 91 in another forum?

Also sponson width, do I go with between 22 and 24" to the outside?

I set it at 24 to the outside and set the engine to help balance the boat.

Mine is set at 26 In outside to outside of sponsons

Motor(101) center to transom 23 in

Raced gas hydros at Voodo and it handle the water conditions well.

Doc do you offset your strut and have the rudder on the right?

Neil.

No. Rudder directly in the midline

Rudder on the right

You generally need to mill the rudder transom bracket down to OVEFLAP the strut bracket
