Hello All

Has anyone used this in there JAE 12

I have used this needle valve holder before and really like it.

Can I use it with a OS 18TZ.

and will the extra weight of the Hitec 85MG make a difference in handling

Thanks

Joe

Should work just fine, even smaller is Charles Perdue's remote base using the same os needle

A big thanks to all of the boaters that purchased my Zoom carbs and needle bases. I am completely out of stock on everything until the next "Cool Season".

Thanks Again,

Charles

Hi Joe,

In answer to your question I'm sure it will work just fine as I've sold a good number of them for "under .21" applications. B)

It will be perfect,Don's base is failure free and accurate.Handling will not be any different.

I had one on the 12 i just sold and woked fine I put it on the turn fin side of the tub and releived the top rail so the needle would not hit and also removed some material in the cowl for the needle to stick up through..

I have used 5 or more of don's bases. They work well..

Look in my posts and you may get some mounting ideas.Wherever you sand radius or cut the wood, make sure you seal it well :)

That weight of the 85 mg will not affect one thing..
