Does anyone know the number of pilots attending (IRCHA) this year? You know, the AMA site in Muncie In, with the beautiful pond and facilty no one is interested in.

took the z man over to look at the new pond facility and he was surprised at the size of the pond and the available parking and pit area, said the photos don't do it justice.

with some work it could be premo!

It's great that a large organization like the AMA can take modeling to the highest level. What a great train to get on.
 
Total was 1049 pilots.

I flew in the scale contest but did not win.. Having said this I did not expect to as my MD-530 is not scaled after any particular machine. it was just a matter of learning the ropes.

I did however win at least one flying round and maybe both. I need to get the flight sheets yet.

Here is my machine.

I did see at least 3 RC boat racers hanging out at the event.. that was cool!
