IMPBA D4 2016 GAS HIGH POINTS

International Waters is the official forum for the IMPBA D4 Race events. This thread is for our 2016 Gas Class High Points Series.

I will be administrating Thunderboat and Sport Hydro. Dan Pralle will be administrating Jersey Skiff and Super Sport Mono.

We have a traveling trophy in place for Thunderboat and are working on the trophies for the other 3 classes. Entry is $10.00 per class. Once the trophy cost is covered all entry fees are returned to the winner in the form of gift certificates.

First race is 2 weeks away - St Anne - May 15. Get signed up or at least let us know if you are in.

Check out this link to print the entry forms. Doug and I will be available at may 15 st Anne race and June 4 at badgers race. Turn forms into Doug or myself. Just like scale points there are 2 throw away races because we know not everyone can make every race.

Our First Race of the year is in the books and the results are in. Posted here are those that registered for the 2016 hi points. It is not too late to join in the chase for cup!

Just after 2 races in the books the points battle is alive. Kyler (aka Phenom) has a commanding lead in Super Sport Mono with 1800 pts. He had 4 buoy cuts last weekend so hopefully that doesn't bite him in the future...Chad Greene is running away with Jersey Skiff. i am trying to slow his progress. LIttle Al (Al Lira) has a nice lead in sport hydro. Al is schooling all the big motor guys with his LSG27 Sport Hydro. Remember guys to get points you have to finish races. Thunderboat Gary Donish has a 19 pt lead over Chad and Doug is in a close 3rd.

Next Points race July 9-10 back in badgerland.

Great Weekend in Mendota. Points Updated. Remember there are 2 throw away races.. Super Sport Mono is a close race with Keenan taking the lead with only 300 points over Doug.

Update: Points race is really tight with the last race Sunday Oct 9th at the Badger Pond. Better bring your A game.
