Anyone having any questions about this district 12 race please feel free to call, text or e-mail me anytime. Also remember you can camp out here there at the race site for free. At the Gas Clash we had about 5 or 6 camp out. So, come and camp and enjoy some ice cold adult beverages after the race day is over.

Thank you,

Ray

I can't speak for the club but the only district novice rule is no riggers. We had two dads helping kids in the novice class at our race in June and no one had any problems with it.

Scott, bring your son and boats we will make sure the kids get to run and dad's have always been welcome to help out. Pitting your son isn't easy as you may think.............

Two weeks to go!! We've got two guys coming down from NAMBA 1 that race FE, Nitro and Gas. We need some open Nitro/FE hyros and mono's. Some Sport 40's and 1/8th scales also.

I was just going to run one boat and hang out with the guys but looks like you need to fill some classes. I will bring my thunderboat and run it in place of gas rigger since I am the only one in that class.

Scott and Charles, Pop signed up for RTR.

I'll be with you in gas rigger next year John.

Bad News:

From Steve Sutton. Posted on JRCBD.

Guys and Gals

I am afraid I have some bad news after talking with Mike Butler this afternoon. They have been out at the race site and the grass has gotten to thick growing up in the lake that we cannot remove it to permit racing next weekend. Mike has asked me to let all the racers know that we will have to cancel this years fall D12 race do to this issue. I guess the hot weather this summer and the lake of rain along with the water being crystal clear accelerated the grass growth in the lake beyond the normal circumstances we have been a custom to dealing with over the last several years. Sorry for the bad news but we don't want racers to come to a site that will not permit quality racing this fall. We will refund all entry fees that have been paid for this race.
