I guess I am looking for more opinions, if cell A is better at 35 amps on the machines, they will be better on the water. Cells don't magically increase the voltage at higher current levels, if they can't do it at 35, they won't do it at 60. GP3700's are no match of IB3800's.

35, 6, 0.01, .9v

411 1.170 2.4

398 1.177 2.2

422 1.172 2.0

409 1.173 2.2

GP's can't do that Dan ;)

Dan I forgot to add that I only charge my ib3800's at 3.5 to 4amps and repeak at the same. I know some guys are nailing gp3300's and gp3700's at 6 to 6.5amps. If you do that with the ib3800 it can be a problem.

Pardon my ignorance, but if a 6 amp charge is a potential problem, why is a 70 amp discharge not?

Just trying to learn here.

Some apples and oranges here....Steve used non matched and I told him to use this for a couple of cycles. Dan's were matched and they were matched at a 6 amp charge. I have no idea why he had problems. Dan and Mark, if you want some replacments, send me an e-mail. We have a newer batch in now.

thanks,

Steve

The latest on the airplane racer...

O.K... I just did a capacity test after 71 cycles.... 4114ma.... Yep, that's the real number. This isn't wishful thinking or stretching the results. If you recall, the orignal forming charge was 4374 I believe.. Amazing!.. These cells do NOT lose capacity as quickly or as much as the GP'S do

thanks,

Steve

But them there airplane guys don't know us boats! :D

In all seriousness Steve its nice to see some competition for gp. We went from real good inexpensive all green 3300 cells a few years ago to fancy shrink wrap with increased prices now that Sanyo is not a player.

Thanks

Steven
