Here's a couple of a young one that didnt mind me bugging him while he ate.

Keeping in mind , its all shot with a Kodak Z915, I sooo need a good camera

Ya, I noticed that. That pic was taken in Southern Ontario Canada. I think he was just taking a rest because that fish was pretty big. I have a couple more shots where his wings are flared up. Bit of a warming for us. Don't think he was happy that we were sitting 10' below him taking pics. He ended up taking his dinner and going home. Lol

ospreys must have mellowed out over the years. i've still got scars on my right elbow from one. got attacked about 40 years ago in biscayne bay in miami. no nest, food or young ones involved. went ashore on a small spoil island (leftovers from channel dredging), & the bird got all territorial about it.

I cant even imagine one attacking me , musta been all the DDT that nearly decimated them back in the day.

Thats a big azz bird with some wicked talons coming after ya

back then, humans were not as omnipresent in fla. (even miami) as they are now.........i think a lot of critters have got used to us in urban areas.

nothing special, just my view out front that i enjoy a lot.

well, that looks like crap. can't figure out how to get it off it's side.
