Thats National Geographic quality, look at the wings, very nice.

Ok, now, do that with some boats, ;)

Its just a Kodak Easy Share Z915 Nothing special, this guy was just ultra cooperative and let me get real close. Took about 15 shots to get three decent one's. There have been SOOO many times of late I wished I had my camera with me- for some reason I tend to notice wildlife more lately. I have been lucky enough to be in very close proximity to Eagles-Ospreys - Swallow Tail Kites , snakes and lots of critters lately ....

I would be dangerous with a REAL camera , most of these shots are within feet of the subject- I could kill it with a good zoom

A few more -

Ray that is a pic of a Cicada , they only live 48 hours and you got a good shot before it mated and died.....
ugly little spuds, ain't they?

I took this with my phone riding down a local bike trail. not sure why I like it, maybe the dreariness.

Here's a couple I like. Every Spring we cut an iceberg and float it down the Leland river. Kind a of rite of passage into warmer temps....

And of course my favorite place on the planet, South Manitou Island.
