Below average temps for the last couple summers, more rain this year than I care to think about, colder earlier than normal and record snowfalls in a month when we usually don't get much if any at all. Global warming? Yeah, the only global warming needed around here is warming my butt cheeks from freezing my azz off shoveling snow. I live in southern Virginia not flippin' Maine. Over 9" inches of snow already and more on the way, calling for a possible total of 16-20" before it ends tonight. I wonder if Al Gore knows how to use a snow shovel..... <_<

Hey Don, I feel your snow, er i mean pain, we just got our 15+ inches of "global warming" last week. I have a sister in southern Maryland getting what you're getting, possible 20 inches before it's over! Check out Glenn Beck's "An Inconvenient Book", a great rebuttal to Al Gore and company.

Global warming my derriere! We got our first hard hit last Thursday but it had all but melted away. We got about an inch so far today since sometime after 1:00 AM.

I was watching The Weather Channel after I got home from some late-night last-minute Christmas shopping for my main squeeze and family and saw how people freak out over a little snow. The stores are more worried about people not being able to get out and get their last-minute shopping done.

It seems like the problem down there is that people don't know how to drive in the white stuff. Don't worry, there must be a very high frequency alarm that goes out to idiots and tells them that they must go out on the roads and drive like complete fools when we get a few inches!

I'm all about a white Christmas.....but that's about the only time I really want to see this @#$%! The snow isn't the problem, it's the knuckleheads in this area that freak out at the sight of the first few flakes in the air. :wacko:

Global warming... It seems hard to believe that we can change the climate so much, this big blue marble we live on is controlled by far greater things than we could ever comprehend. Listen to people such as Michio Kaku and Neil DeGrasse Tyson, SOLAR RADIATION is global warming, cutting down all the Amazon is GLOBAL WARMING...... we are but a spec in the time space continuum.What happens when we have magnetic reversal, North pole becomes South.
