Weather was super good almost all weekend We got the JAE Gas speed still around 70mph using the timing lights but then I made a bad mistake driving and got too close to the far shore and wiped the left sponson out along with the booms. David Hall was doing very good with his JAE .12 and managed to get a time of 2.66 with the record at 2.65 , David hit a buoy and broke his rudder so that Saturday night we worked and got it ready for Sunday. The weather was even better Sunday David was making some runs trying to get the rudder trimed correctly and lost concentration and hit the same buoy and broke his JAE in half, David said he is going to have to build the next one a little stronger and not so light weight. We are still looking for the back half with the engine and radio. David had time to finish ptting his JAE FE "P" hydro together and managed to break the oval record the second time in the water. Really neat running hull. Strange to see him set his hull in the water go up on the drviers stand and then start running it. All in all it was a good weekend since any day at the lake beats a day in the office.

Bill dont forget about our buddies from Georgia that both got their 75mph gas mono patches!!

Thanks David, I have a lot on my mind this week.

Mike Whitley and Ronnie Cail both got their gas monos up over 75 mph Mike was using a Quick Draw and ronnie had a modified Zenoha. Mike would have broken the XLS record if it had not been archived, I guess thier goal now will be to beat Jerry Crowthers gas Mono record. Go get it guys you did good this weekend. :p
