Rain is till scheduled to depart by noon.

Jay also had a Q OB tunnel SAW record. 74 and change average. Was really nice to hear a 3.1 sumpthing on the first pass which he botched and backed up for the record with a 2.95. Carl your Warhead laid down flat and didn't flinch. Third miles tomorrow and maybe anothe SAW pass or two.

Well after reviewing the weather forecast of 20-30 mph winds for Sunday all contestants decided to call it quits and went home, but not until 14 new IMPBA records were set. Congradulations and thank you to all of our contestants. I'll provide a more in depth list of the records Sunday evening. Mic and Jay set a few for the FE OB tunnel hulls, Chris Kawczyk set 2 for the FE monos and David Hall set at least 3 for the JAE riggers and I set 3 for the SS Gas Cat class. As I said I'll provide a full listing Sunday I'm beat.

Hey guys,

Sounds GREAT! Did anyone get it recorded so we can see it? That is rolling boys. It had to be sweet to see. That kind of thing keeps the speed bug alive. Send some pictures when you can.

-Carl

Very little recorded Chris had somepictures of David's JAE FE stuffing and then breaching the surface like a Great white going after a seal Paul's did that same thing the next day only with a twist (literally).

We did not have time to video stuff, too many records being set! For real, it was 14 in all if I recall right. Man the paperwork is piled up pretty high for this one! We liked doing this so much we will have TWO more record trials this YEAR!!!! Ya'll make plans to come on down our way. Paul

Good job Jay an Mic
Hey Dick,

Thanks and it does make us realize all the hard work you and Mike did to give us some targets. In perspective we just set some records and don't own them. We will rent them till you guys come back and do it all over again. We are learning more every time we run.

Mic (Jay)

Wow good job guys. Looks like david was thrashing and maybe a little blood spilled? I have seen that JAE shark jump, its awesome!

David Hall ran his 10S JAE and topped out just over 108 MPH, man that was moving! With some more work there maybe 20+ MPH in her... Hey any boat that tops 100 MPH is a FAST boat! Paul
