Hi Bill:

Will there be shore power at the lake for us electric guys to use? We can always charge off our vehicle batteries if there is no AC available. Thanks!

Jay T

I'm excited too, after all these years I'll finally get to meet Ed face to face!

Hey Bill Z, is there sufficient coverage to keep us dry or out of the sun? We can bring a pop-up for the two of us if needed - what do you think? Thanks!

There are a very limited number of trees. I'd bring your pop up to be safe. B)

You guys will have to give a full TT report. Well maybe you will, I don't think Ed likes to write much... LOL

Doesn't look like the best conditions this am in HSV, little rain, fog and breeze from the SE, little warm too... :(

Well Brain I would say you made the right choice. The wind chill made it like the LOW 50's and the wind gust were 25-35 Mph. The was white caps in there at one ponit.... Driving the retrive boat was a challange!!

At present Jerry Crowther had set two record. Gas Hydro and Oval gas mono.

Those were done on Friday morning Early. After that it was no go.

It was shaping up to be an interesting weekend if the weather help. Jay Turner, name may be wrong, From Texas had one of those Euro electric hydros there.

Hope they have good weather tomorrow.

That was Gas hydro SAW @ 82 + Boat had more in it but the weather was not helping. Had to be back at home today. hope zuber will post later thai evening.

As predicted, looks like today is pretty good:

The numbers before the "KT" are the wind direction and speed, "CLR" means clear skys, temps in the low 50's, high baro pressure. :)

We will post the results as soon as possible realize that the results are not official until the Records Director glen Quarles actually reviews the applications for records. John and I were working on the forms until 10pm then I left john with the rest to finnish up. It will probably be late this afternoon before results get posted. I know Tommy Lee's B tunnel oval record from 1996 finally fell Ron Drake got that and we got to see an electric hydro go over 70 mph and Jerry's F mono go over 90 mph. Very busy Sunday!!!

Well we got the record application sent off we had 30 records applied for this weekend. The most we ever had John stated was 43! It was very busy Sunday!
