I spent yesterday in Huntington IN. at an APBA outboard race. Many different classes. Very friendly people, had a great time! More pics in my gallery.

Hi Dick..

You know more than anyone! LOL Only saw one that rolled in the corner. I think he was up and running in the next heat. One thing that I noticed at this race, it was a very family oriented affair! Fathers, Grandfathers, Wives, Sons, and Daughters, all racing, helping, all having a great time! Something R/C boat racing once had.

Hi Steve,

Yup, we have a race up this way every year and there are many of the same families that are still running that I raced against in the 60's. I see McCourtey's were there. I built a C stock hydro that Ed designed and his brother Dick did some of my engines, they were from the Jackson, MI area in those days and were all belonged to the "Capital City Outboard Club" but the meetings were in Jackson at the McCourtey's.

Thanks, John
