Hi,
I’m partway through building my first Outrigger (first boat) I’m stuck on how the flex shaft Collet is attached to the engine. I have noted that the Uni joint for a straight shaft is screwed onto the crankshaft. But the flex shaft Collet that I was sent has no thread in it at all.
Do I need to thread the Collet the same as the Uni joint system or is there another way of securing the Collet to the crankshaft?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
