I've been all over the wife tihing. My first wife was a true "Jewell". Smart, good looking and gave me three truely delightful kids. Although she had no desire to race, wrench or build, she was my biggest racing fan back in the good old days when the wives came to races and not only helped with the admin work, but whooped, hollered and cheered us on when we were racing well. Cancer took her in '89. Since then it's pretty much been one model boating hater after another. So... instead of a wife, I now have an incredible 18X22 ft addition to my house (finished last summer) that I refer to as "The Pit" and I am back to building my own hydros after a 15 year lull. It's allways happy to see me when I get home. loves it when I make a mess (especially the saw dust and lathe/mill shavings). Never gives me any #%&P. Allways there when I want it - never around when I don't. When asked about being "single", my answer is: "I'd rather want what I don't have than have what I don't want!"
