Just wondering if I could get some advice. I was striping some wires from old Futaba servos to make a switch and on some of the black (negative) wires, there is a black coating on the wires and solder does not want to stick to it.
What is this black coating and how do I go about to remove it (if you can) so that I can solder the wires.
Many thanks.
