Hi guys and gals i have been running a zenoah 260 pum with great success apart from my last two races

The problem being is i will fly for the first ten Min's then if i slow down for the rescue boat and then put the power back on it takes a good 10 to 20 seconds for the power to come on , it seems strange as when i drop of the power it dose not stall

i dint know but can it be to leen at the bottom end ?

it just seems strange after about 5 to 10 Min's

any help would be greatly appreciated

regards

Darren

sound like it might be alittle rich??

Sounds like it is something heat related or fuel delivery related after the fuel gets low or the engine gets hot enough. I would think a lean condition or combination of heat and lean. Does the engine seem overly hot when you drive it in? What carb and what needle settings? What does the plug look like most importantly? Certainly wouldn't want to lean up a engine possibly already running lean or hot. Are you sure the engine just isn't getting on pipe because of things like o-rings leaking or pipe moved? How much time is on the engine? Ring might be getting worn and compression getting lower and not able to pull the prop as well anymore. Something sucking air causing a lean condition.

On chain saws and weed whacker's when the fuel pump check valves get old it will do the same thing.

You can get a carb rebuild kit from the local repair shop.
