Yeah I'm not going to hold my breath. I just want my feet to feel better.
Sounds like a profitable side job for you Gene-start milking em . The gal in the story I read received three doses of anti venom over a 18 hour period- so the bill seemed a bit excessive to me. She was bitten low on her foot and that indicates she was not wearing shoes- maybe sandals. We do not have copperheads out west but we do have rattler's. A lady friend had both her dogs bitten on the same day. Anti venom was $500 per pooch but that was almost ten years ago.We have a lot of copperhead's here, However I didnt know the antivenom is 1000 to 1500 per shot and up to 30 can be needed.........
WOW !
Gene
There's no way I could afford 400 a month.Go to the Blue Cross Blue Shield web site and get a quote from there. They were and still are the cheapest in Illinois. They also have temporary insurance that will go for as long as 6 months, but you have to pay for the temp insurance up front. I had Blue Cross for over 4 years after I retired and started my own business, went with a high $5000.00 deductable, I have no major health issuses, last year the payments were $400.00 plus per month.
Good luck with your search.
