Now let's get this back on track. I was hoping that Mark & those on this board who seem to have outstanding issues would take the opportunity to air it out & get it straight but said parties choose to remain silent. This just continues to leave the door open for speculation & assumption which is not a good thing. For all those who know Mark personally & have spoke up on how he's a good guy well that's a good thing. And then there are those here who have unresolved issues & the questionable Ebay track record which casts this gloomy shadow. The biggest thing is the deals amongst members of this board & how they affect the comradery of the group. This seems like a great opportunity to get things going in the right direction so as to remove the assumptions, doubts & speculation & put this to rest. :blink:

I too think there is a lot of smack down that don't need to be on here. BUT,, when a person will knowingly screw another person, if he knows him or they are just a person out in the internet world to them, they are the scum of the earth to me!!! Now that the 2004 IMPBA NATS are over I'll tell this. I was the president of the Jackson club. Helped start it, got the backing from the city of Jackson to use the lake and hold races. I got the money from the city to build the driver stand and fence it in. And when I told them about maybe getting the IMPBA NATS here they loved it. Had a member of our club rip me off. Screwed me out of a new novarossi engine with new outboard converson . Gave him a chance to get out of his lies and keep things going. But no he would not tell what he did. I proved what he did with out any dought and he still lied. Well I got to thinking at that point. Now do I want a person that will LIE, CHEAT, AND STEAL from his own friends, to represent our club. Hell no!! Well when I brought it to our other key members they got mad, but not at that sorry ass but me for bringing it up. They stabed me in the back and made him feel good. Great friends I had. Thats why I droped out of that club. Now our guy has the nerve to do it to people he sees all the time. Sounds like mark only has the nerve to do it to people he most likely will not see. I don't care what Mark may do at you pond, but bottom line it's not good for the sport to let this crap to happen over and over. HAVE THE BALLS to say it like it is. You'll find out who your real friends are. And unlike some others I'm not scared to post my name.

Well just so happens that "J Newsted" & "Roostertailz" have the exact same time which is 2 hours behind current east coast time. And your spelling & grammar is just as bad as it was on the rc.boat listbot before you put your tail between your legs & split there too. Do I have a beef with Curtis? Yup, he's been trying to rip off a good friend of mine (and others here) Phil Thomas by splashing copies of Phil's U-10!
