Stk Bowl volume? .018 is a Great Number in Most Weather Conditons 85 degrees & under temps & 80 or less degree water temps... I only run .020 if the Heat is bumping 100 & the water temp is 95 plus..... I Liked the silver head cooling loop myself....... Be careful & dont over cool them.......especially in a TWIN... pipes 11 7/8 - 12 on 13cc macs pipes in a Twin OR OPS 5780 in a single @ 11 3/8 - 11 1/4 Anything uner .016 my experience it will be hard on parts........

THANKS JOE

A lot depends on the altitude where you are running. When you run a low altitude, the air is more dense. When you run at high altitude the air is much thinner. At higher altitudes you can run tighter head clearance because there is less air pumping into the cylinder. If you don't tighten up the head clearance at altitude, you have no power.

The altitude is why we run smaller props and longer pipes up here.

Joe is right when he says that temperature makes a big difference as well. The hotter the air, the less dense it is as well.

Speaking of hot air, I should just drop it....
