I can say this much, I drove a 510 injected Chevy on gas rigged out in a 18 foot Sanger flatbottom with a Casale V Drive, There is something to the out there in the breese thang

But fer me aired out it was not balls in tha breese as much as butt pucker in the seat :lol:

With all the enthusiasim...enthusesism...enthusiasm...attention these boats get,why do i seem to be marching to a different drum that only i can hear? R.C. flat bottom drag boats exibit most of the same crazy moves the 1:1 scale boats do...blow overs,chine walks ect...this is the only type of boat for me

I gotta stick where my savy is, that seems to be outboard tunnel, I have had inboards, one shovelnose and workin on my second rigger (thats already drivin me crazy) :blink:

I used to be part owner of a AA/FC Funny car in the late 80's. Definately fast & furious fun......Trouble is, if you are in it long enough, it starts to cost way too much. I lost 2 good friends the same summer(1987) in spectacular crashes like the ones pictured above. Haven't been to a drag race in15 years.

Sorry to be a downer........

Hey Bob,

I know what your talking about and it's sad when this sort of thing happens, I raced 1000cc speedway sidecars (no brakes allowed) here in Oz but I always knew that while it was heart pumping stuff it could all go wrong at anytime as I saw on several occasions but when you risk life for such a ride these are the things that sometimes happen. Truely sorry to hear your bad experience.

PS: R/C is way more relaxing and a lot more fun and sure doesn't have as much risk to ones life, not to mention the cost.
