Way back when I used to have to watch for T-Rex at the pond, we used to use a threaded pushrod coupler that was basically a piece of 2/56 hollow all-thread. I think it was made of copper or brass, no base stem at all. Has anyone seen these or know who might still have these?

Thanks

Dave

Not sure if this is what you are talking about, but DuBro made a 2-56 threaded coupler that could be soldered onto a pushrod , You could then add a Kwik link or a ball link to this to connect to a throttle arm, servo arm, etc. These were made out of brass and they would eventually fail ( break ) after a shot period of time, especially if you used them to connect the throttle linkage to a carburetor. Don't ask me how I know this. I started using one inch long split pins soldered between 2 pieces of pushrod and never had any more failures.

Hi Dave..

Those are made by "Sullivan", part #512. 2/56 threaded brass couplers. They have a 1/32" hold through them.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
