I had no idea this birthday thread was started until a few minuets ago when I just happened to see it. I really don't venture out on this site too much but I do want to thank the guys who wished me a happy birthday.
I typically find out that my birthday is coming up by my wife because I don't give it much thought. My son Daniel and his wife Santanna and my grandchild Addie came down from Birmingham and took me and my wife to my favorite place to eat. Out of all the big name joints around this area, I really like going to Bass Pro. It is really good food and the price is reasonable. The ladies always seem to be agreeable to it because they know that most likely we will stop by the fudge bar on the way out. LOL
They have quite a few old antique outboards hanging on the walls there and I sometimes get to bore somebody with the fact that I grew up owning some just like them. My wife (god love her) listens to my stories like it's the first time I have told it. She could probably tell all my stories from start to finish.
But did I have a good birthday? YES... and it is good to know that after 55 years I haven't managed to piss off every person I know. LOL But to the guys that wished me well, thank you very much. I am hoping to live long enough to build a couple more models before I pop my last balloon.
