The grounds keeper at are pound takes care of the weeds and we haven;t had a problem in about 5 years.It seems around the middle of April thur to the end of July was a pain in the azz to run boats.

You can almost walk across the top of the water, the weeds are so bad.

They grow super fast here! All the fertilizer from the surrounding landscape washes into the water and makes it worst. I think at one point Rod, Hank and the Pirates figured it was growing a foot a day. UNBELIEVABLE. Regardless, once we get that site back we should have some BIG events. It would have been nice to have a Thanksgiving race again.

I for one cant wait to get back to running in Tampa- nothing against the Brandon site- but that coarse seems to suit me well. Plus the practice sessons are more fun- I stopped by a few days ago now that Im working over there again-wow- I was amazed at the growth in the pond. If any of you Tampa guys stop by , there is a big azz wasps nest under the rail of the drivers stand-dont ask how I found that out
