I sent my contact a mail for Waterbug SC, Still no answer. If they do discontinue them, I can get them for about 2 more years.

How much are they in the states. I think they are

33000 yen here. 120yen to the dollar. I can get them from Mr. Shimizu at about 15-20% off. the 33000 yen, If you need one.

They are about 280 dollars US, As of right now I dont need one, But if the supply over here dries up I might drop you a line for one. Just want to figure out what the deal is with GP/Hobbico Inc. the US distributor for the engine. They seem to run a product for a while and then Poof its gone!!!

On the Japanese site for O.S. There is no indication that they plan on discontinuing it. They are pretty clear about explaining what is going and what is coming.

I think the problem is with Hobbico, not O.S.

This is not the first time GP/Hobbico has done this either, I seem to remember a tunnel hull that I liked, Called the TopSpeed

whatever did happen to the topspeed? that looked like a pretty nice RTR [or was it ARR, memory's fogging over] and I tried to find some info on it, seemed as if i'd gotten a misprint version of that month's RCBM and was the only one with an ad for it! i bet those selfish Hobbico guys are hogging them all for themselves!!

I bought two TopSpeed tunnels from Tower Hobbies, great hull, used it as a on the water dyno, servo tester, prop tester, ran the poop outta them. Then Tower discontinues them, called GP and they no longer sell them, why the ads stayed in RCBM I will never know, but I was told when existing stocks ran out that was it..........

that's a shame,

it looked like a great kit and if the price was right [never knew that detail] there would probably be alot of people asking q's about OB tunnels instead of Miss Bud hydros..not that the Miss Bud is a bad RTR for the dough but it would just be different.
