For a H-10 prop I think these are the Numbers:

Diameter 46.5mm (1.825")

Pitch 76mm (3.00")

I have had great luck with the H7 prepared right on the rear ski setup. I have a AB H5 3.4 cup and some 1450's in various states of modification also some 1445's. If you back cut the H7 to 17DEG. and edge pinch the prop with tip cup( 3.4 on mine) it will run real nice and not lift the back of the boat to much. Was out running it today and finally nailed down the setup. It could run more cup but will not throttle good.

Only took three months.

David... we're on the 3 months too.... "seasoning to taste" with the variables eliminated, Adam's kit boat is rising, weekly.... the H7 and worked testing yesterday had best overall performance on the 5 port. We are on a Marty Davis style'd 1452 that is showing big promise, overall best speed..... on the bench, for a little more weight loss program......

I have an H10, and tested on my 7 port platform.... it needs to be reworked, proving too much yet....

I'm limited around 3.2 to 4, and, as amazingly the little 5 port Adam has, has yet to not pull the moon.......

Files, cup, and beryllium, it's still alot of fun seeing what sunday brings...... mike

Mike,

How short of pipe are you running? Did you reduce the S-pipe stinger diameter?

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

Mark... i've mine @ 7 1/2 to the band center, 8 to the weld..... Adams is a "tink" shorter 7 7/8ths to the weld....

Apples.... My engines lack torque... via very very high top end rpm...... We've had pipes in and out all summer, and are settling on stated.... stinger, might be in the works.... .284.... with the OD of mine around .250 this gotta be close enough......

We're going in different directions, as the little 5 port STOCK, definitely has grunt, as we continue to search the limit it'll pull..... just throwing an H7 S/B to it after all the 14 series work we did..... asking for more.....

Back cut, Barr cut, 1452, and asking for it yet..... surprised by the engine we continue seasoning to taste.....

Taken away from a pretty good test session, was that the S/cooper is a HIGH RPM pipe, has me chewing on beryllium.

Reduced 1450's in the 44 to 45 range on mine, to test, and back to possibly adding to the H5 and 6 you sent me......

H5 @ 3.6, 44.8... H6 3.2 44.9

A reduced '7 guess i did, for Adam's boat had limit we didnt like..... untested on my boat yet.....

I'm close to pinnacle on the 1450's. A hair reduction and maybe cup,( the 7 i did) gains me mechanical ease I'm looking to heat the boat.....

Granted and solution to as why the 14 series and losing the lift they seem to impart is ongoing...... ( Cup). ?

We both had 45's in our stable, that were easily overcome early.... since 3.46 seems to be my magic limit, i'll look into tweaking mine..... seemingly, isnt that a serious amount to install into the 45?...... pretzelize?.......

Granted, with the S, and my engines, I need the smaller diameter, on theory that top end r's are where its at......

i'm quickly being approached with a kit boat and stock engine, that continues to amaze us as we combine information and dust the glitter off each week.....

the Marty Davis' style 1450 + series are options we're looking into.... chewing down the 1452 is a task, but the best to date, with a strong fresh engine, adam's boat gains weekly......

H7, stock, also, and waiting a week...... "prop it, until the r's are in"..... chewin' on 'em.... mike

Brad,

A stock H-10 is: 3.33" T.E. cup

2.73" C.O.B. pitch

44.17 mm diameter

I have them Race Ready for $45.00 shipped to you.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

the last thing you want to do is reduce the stinger on the s-pipe.. trust me

the id on that pipe should be .305 just like it comes

Mark,

Something I do not understand and maybe you can clarify for me. The ABC website lists the H-10 as 46.5 mm, pitch of 3.00", cup of 3.0. Your numbers cited above do not match those of ABC. Are the website numbers not up to date for the H-10?

John,

Charts are not updated.

Chris,

The S-pipe reduced stinger worked VERY WELL for us.

Like you say it doesn't always work on your set up.

Your propeller is on the way.

Thanks,

Mark Sholund

i hear ya mark. . on my stuff and a few others that run the pipe anything under .305 and it makes to much heat.. now in this weather.. ya i may work.
