I have found a radio box desined for a controller and servo and radio at the transom  saves some mass and keeps those power cables short - but it has to be compact or shaped to allow the cells to move - anything that lets us get that mass low as possible is good (gee dont you have a hull that does that?)

One other thing i noticed from the starks tunnel - that has a very wide tunnel - but it certainly lets that sucker fly very nicely with mild to wild power but needs sponson mods to help it turn.

Here is the understanding of the setup as i know it to be.

The steering servo is going up front in the radio box as is the RX. The battery pack (12 cells) in the center and the speedo in the back (near the motor). The boat was deliverd to the very happy owner on sat. We had about 2 hours to chat about the setup and its going to be good. Props are going to be the area that we are going to need to spend some time on.

ROCK ON

Mike,

thanks for posting that picture of my hull on your web site.

The new FE version i have be working on is going good. Cut 2inch off back and added one inch to front. Having a 9inch planing surface instead of the 11inch.

am waiting on a dumas cowl to complete the project. have to design a tub around the cowl, but until i get it i cannot do anything.

so far it is very light and still strong.

Will take some shots if i finish the bottom of the sponsons off this weekend.

looking to go 50mph 12 cell in electric tunnel.

just need to get a hotter motor.
