Hello everyone - I'm with the company that Tom hosts his site with and he invited us to read this topic in particular so that we could get a feel as to what is going on. While we have no other complaints/issues with the particular server Tom is on with us - the fact that it appears the problems are happening roughly the same time whenever there is a problem would lead me to believe that someone on the same server is running some cron (automated MySQL function) job during that particular time frame - probably an automatic backup function that has some bad code in it.

Anyway, rest assured we will definitely look into this and see if we can't narrow this issue down. I'll request one of the server administrators keep a watchful eye on the server load at the noted times (4-5:30'ish PM EST). With any luck, we'll get it figured out the first time that the script/cron job is ran.

Jeeese OB thts nuts.. and i thought 110 a month just to get cable into my crummy little apt was bad... for what your gonna pay, might as well call ATTand have them put up a wireless T1 for your own personal use
