You'll need to muffle a 40 tuned pipe as well to meet the IMPBA noise rules, here's an easy way to do it:I remember reading a Roostertail once a few years ago & it mentioned the term Pipe and 92DB or 89 db. Anyway I figure I have been to watch 2 NL races and 1 or 2 Summer sizzlers at London. No one was running a short stack. I put 2 & 2 together and figured I better show up with a pipe and save the embarrasment of being told I can't run that day. No for now the solid shaft will do for this year. Maybe I'll change in the future. Don't know. Baby steps for now.
