Good prop for a 21sgx

Does any body have a suggestion on a prop to start out with on a 21 sgx 2 with a stock N/R .21???

h-7. cut down 1450 say 46mm maybe a 1445 but i never had good luck with them

i would say h-7 is probably a good choice to start.

will probably need more cup than stock but start at stock

also you may try a h-5 or h-6 all depends on boat motor pipe combo.

I use to like the ABC 1714 w/ 3.4" cup when I ran an SGX .21, also an H-4 w/ 3.5" works good too.

If you can swing it, an H-7 @ 46mm w/ 3.5" is a super hot prop for that boat.

1445 @3.21" to 3.46" of cup.

H-7 cut to 45.75mm @3.21" to 3.46" of cup.

H-4 and H-5 with @3.21" to 3.60" of cup.

I would recommend to run less cup and shorten the pipe as much as possible.

RPM= SPEED Most are loading their boats with too much cup and then they cannot

shorten the pipe to get good RPM. This is a big reason why most don't get more out of their set ups.

I know Andy won the worlds one year with a 1445 @3.33" of cup.

Gary Prusse is now stocking some of Andy Brown's props. You may want to contact him to see if he has a 1450 or H7 in stock. Both need to be trimmed to 46mm with 3.3 to 3.6 cup. Either of the 2 props would be excellent choices for the N Rossi and boat you have. They are worth every penny! Gary's number is 630-279-2451.

I have always ran Andy's 1445-3.3" cupped props on the N/R and they were easy to launch and had good top-end. The H7 was good too untill the pond gods got it....
