Good Pond Size?

What's a good pond size not course size for our Boats. Mainly what would be the minimum size. I found 2 places in Louisville. I'm going to go look at them Saturday. I was going to post the Map on here but I don't know how.

800ft x 350ft

Impba 1/6 mi course is 400 ft long by 70 ft wide if you draw a rectangle around it. You want 90-100 ft between the course and the shore in the front stretch and 150-200 ft on all other sides

jeff is right much smaller and it gets really tight to run in.

Well our site in ottawa the pond is 2100 X 625 now that's big water

it gets tight when ya race in under 275 for the narrowest point

The wine run is almost perfect, just a tiny bit tight in the back if there is a dead boat.

Good deal. I found 2 of them within 20 minutes of my house. I'm going to look at them Saturday and get with the owners to see if I can just use it to test. For Now.

Nope. Going to the fair Saturday. Racing Back to back to back is killing my weekends.
