Andy, you got dat right brudda!

The biggest violator is still in the Chase and that just isn't right! Sure, he was given orders by Ty Norris but the boy needed to use his own brain. Seriously, what would have happened to him had he chosen to ignore them? He could have blown it wide open for MWR and their dirty little secret.

NASCAR needs to revamp everything as far as the points system goes and I've said this for years! Points based on finishes, 43 for first, 1 for last. Toss out the Lucky Dog. No other points for leading the most laps or any other bonus points. Starting based on qualifying every week, nothing to fall back on.

NASCAR Requires 2 Balls to Compete. Unless your Clint Bowyer? Then NO Balls will get it done........ p.s. Poor ole Brian vickers is so far behind in points he wont make the chase in 2014 either?

In my opinion NASCAR needs to do nothing except run the cars through "safety" inspection and let em race.......If there is a safety issue handle those one at a time........

When team cars line up and draft at Daytona or Talladega isn't that unfair team racing????When a car intentionally falls back to pick up another team car shouldn't that be illegal?????/

What happens to all the single car teams that don't have team mates to draft with????....I guess they are just NASCAR cannon fodder for the Hendricks' and Gibbs organizations ......

Something for you to think about.....If half the cars in the chase had intentionally spun to advance their team mates position,do you think NASCAR would have fined them all????

Remember earlier in the year when 14 cars had questionable roof flap spacers and nothing happened ....think about why......If the sponsors agreed and all those teams decided to boycott the next race....NASCAR would have been on their knees.

Can you imagine what would happen if only 20 cars showed up at the next Nationally televised event......Could that be why the 14 teams were let off the hook with what NASCAR called a "safety issue".....think about it...!!!!!!

If that had been just one team,it would have resulted in the usual 50 points,$100,000.00 fine and suspensions for 6 races for all involved...........NASCAR is not a democracy....It is a family run business......

NASCAR is only interested about one thing and that is the $$$$$$$$........Everything else is secondary..........

When all is said and done there is nothing wrong legally with the way NASCAR does business.....It is theirs to do with as they please......NASCAR is the employer and everybody else is the employee....end of story.....

The only shxxty deal about this whole fiasco is the only guy that had absolutely nothing to do with this episode got his nuts kicked into his throat.......

Nothing was said about Edwards jumping the last restart except once by an anouncer and that was all the anouncers were surprise no penalty called on Edwards for jumping the start. It's just comes down to bad calls and overlooked calls. I would have thought they would have kicked boyer out of the chase instead of penalizing Truex. Truex was just driving and not involved in the radio conversation .

Bill, Bowyer and Vickers were both being told to stay out under cautions to gain trax positions. Then were ordered into the pits under green flag to increase the postions of team mates... Ty Norris was giving the instructions. and Vickers and Bowyer were saying WHAT?????? Repeat WHAT??? Nascar Race Hub has it all broken down... The SPIN OUT after a radio conversation to Bowyer caused a lot of drivers to get reshuffled... and suspect that it was intentional. If NASCAR had Treated it like a RED FLAG and frozen the Field and Berth Points at the time of the SPIN...... The entire issue would have been resolved.......Carl Edwards did Jump the Start Box coming out of 4 and jumped the 1st place car Paul Manard at the same time coming to the Start Line ....?? That restart Should have been waved off....... Looks like NASCAR had there heads up there ass most of the Nite......... Impossible to fix the problem on monday after after the race........ & Lagano Did Not have a Snow Balls chance in Hell before the Bowyer Spin!!!! WAIT...... Cars pulling off the trax that just pitted and others slowing down to a craw....... ShaaaaaZAM.......... Now Joey is IN the Chase & Smiling...... & Jeff Gordon is Shaking like a Poodle Shitting Razor blades?? I guess France was on the phone to his lawyers?? and Helton was eating another Cheeseburger?? WTF....Over??? Pretty sure Gordon feels like someone pulled a bag over his head and Gave him a Shot in the Shorts??

Amen ........ -_-

Sooo many variables that coulda / shoulda happened and this is how they handled it ??

A very poor knee jerk reaction from Nascar imho.

Ron , your spot on about technology bringing something to the forefront that has always existed, you just never got to hear it

And why didnt Bower just pit ????

He coulda told em anything at that point- lost oil psi- something broke- thought he had a flat, ect ect ect ..........

Oh well, the sad part is , at the end of the day- Martin is the one that got f-cked.

I really dont see myself watching much of the chase at this point, not because of Martin- because of nascar.

I was just on ESPN's site watching the videos. They're saying that NAPA is reviewing their sponsorship with MWR along with one more but didn't specify who yet.

I agree Andy, the most innocent person in this whole mess is the one getting it up the ...

He somehow needs to distance himself as far away from MWR as possible, he's too good for them. Mikey's been a scumbag for years in both his business and personal life. Ever hear about his wife any more? About his DUI's? BTW, his other job in the booths may be in peril also. I wondered why an owner of a multi-car team has to moonlight in the booth.

What a shame, I certainly hope it doesnt hurt MTJ in the future. It just goes to show how media and over information can snowball for Napa to consider pulling out and this ever getting to this point. It really makes nc look like chzt imho, and they keep digging a deeper hole. This race will result in some very unpopular hard feelings when its all said and done. I agree with Rod- toss it in the sh---er and revert to the last race run for points. At this point they wouldnt look any worse - just sayin :(

I stopped watching the DOG & PONY show back in the 80's when the stock car disappeared off the track.

Funny thing is the fasts lap ever done was in a STOCK CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back then you settled it on the track!

Not in some back room meeting of a mega team and the France family.

The bigger it gets and the more money thy make the worse it gets.

Keep watching and it will get better.

I call Shenannigans on 15. It smells of colusion. They replayed the com from cars. Clints spin was a little weak. The chase needs to go, and also in NHRA, countdown doesn't support the fans. Vickers is screwed 2 ways, Stewart stealing Vickers future crew chief for Harvick next year.

The new three headed snake,

France/Humpy/Hendrick

Looks like a lot of fallout on this deal. It will be very interesting to see what happens this winter. No matter what, Martin will be just fine. I am sure he is looking at all of his options right now.

Interesting it will be. The real victim in this situation is Martin, who was just racing and going about his business of getting into the chase when all of the sideline junk was going on. He got sucked into the vortex and did and does not deserve it one bit. I feel for him and he is handling it like the pro he is. I suspect he will not only land on his feet but will be in a better situation than he has been involved with in recent years.

What is really going on is that accountability is now being pumped into the equation. NAPA has dumped MWR and looks like 5 Hour Energy is heading in the same direction with MWR. The sponsors are leading this wave of accountability. There are many athletes, pros, driver's, politicians, movie & TV stars, etc., that feel that there is no accountability for them anymore. It is high time that train is turned around.

i saw while watching the nationwide race sat. nite that mwr will release martin from his contract - no strings attached - if he feels he needs to go to another team.

^^ Correct. And 5 hour energy actually made a nice statement towards NASCAR about integrity as well. After all of the other shenanigans went on during that race, from other teams, that never got penalized for it.

I dont think 5 hour will drop MWR. And I think it was a mistake for NAPA to do so as well. MTJ will go on, and he will find another team if need be. Guys guy heart. He will go places!
