Good boat for kid

I was running my B tunnel at a friends lake a while back and now they want to get their 9 year old son a boat that he can run there. Needs to be something that he can run himself so a nitro boat won't do yet. What is out there, electric, that offers good construction RTR or almost RTR and will be fast enough to keep him interested. I think he has had some store bought small electrics before. He needs something with better performance. Web sites, boat brands? Thanks.

This boat could actually be raced in about about 3 different NAMBA classes. It will do 30MPH+ for over 4 minutes, new hull, motor, esc, hardware, hell of a deal! Includes everything needed.
