Going to the Lake on Sunday

Wade and I are planning on heading to Turk Lake in Greenville on Sunday. I was just wondering if there is anyone else in the Grand Rapids,MI area that would like to join us? If so I would need to know so that I can get everthing all set at the cottage there. There is a potential that we may end up in Lakeview if it won't work out there (ie the water is to rough). So anyone that is interested and can make it let me know and I will get you directions or set up a place and time to meet before heading there.

We are going to have to get tougher some weekend, outside of the fun run, I have to go to lake this weekend, but TO WORK, Will squeeze in alittle play for sure.

but once work is done, bet your A$$ i will be playing.

Sounds good Tom. I am usually at one lake or the other pretty much every weekend. I am hoping to make the fun run as well. Definetly would like to get together outside of the fun run when you are in town. Here is a shot of where we will be. This is from last year.

If your around that area, did you read the thread about the FUN RUN IN Kal? Its june 14th i beleive on a sunday. THere a awesome time.

If your around there, Please come on out that day.

Several of us WILL Be there.

If you need directions, Its on the thread, or you can ask Ron O or wade for better directions. and that day you and your son are more than welcome to come out.

I went out last Saturday, you couldn't ask for a better day this time of year.

You are both more than welcome to join us. I am thinking that we could meet up at the BP gas station right of of 131 and 10 Mile. I am not sure about a time yet. I am thinking between 11 and noon. Does this work for you? Otherwise I can give you directions.

I know all I will have is my tunnel running and I think that is all that Wade will have also.

That is to bad. Wade mentioned that he e-mailed you. We would be doing it on Saturday but my wife is giving a freind a baby shower so me and my son have to disappear for a while. I was out last sunday. It looked like it was giong to be nice to run then the wind changed directions and it became pretty rough real fast.

Wade and I set a time to be at the lake by somewhere around noon. If you are still planning on joining us, and we hope you are, we will need to meet up and leave the BP station on 10 Mile by 11:30. Otherwise like I mentioned I can give you directions.

For those who can't make it this time, hopefully we can get to together and run soon. I was always wondering how many people there were in the GR area that ran boats. There are a lot more than it seems.

For all of the IW gang I am really hoping to make it to the fun run in June. I would really like to meet some of the people that have helped me out when I have had problems or questions. As of right now my wife did say I could go even though it is here B-Day.

Take her out that sat night, for a nice dinner or something and then sunday give her flowers and a card, and say IM OUTTA HERE.

LOL I amy just take that advice. We actually have the week off together starting on Sunday. So we could do her B-Day any day of the week. She even mentioned that. I am going to do whatever I can to make sure that I can make it.

I should mention that she has been pretty understanding about working on my boats. Of course I had to kind of put my aquariums on hold for the winter. And now they will be on hold even more becuase of boats and scuba diving.
